(from Farpoint Media’s Kick-Ass Mystic Ninjas and Slice of SciFi) Joe lost his fight with Leiomyosarcoma on April 1, 2007. Joe was an instant friend to anyone who was lucky enough to meet him, and a constant joyful presence in the podcasting world. He is truly missed.

The group tries Nappa Valley root beer and A&W glass-bottled root beer before we sing along with Mason Rocket, by Beatnik Turtle. When we return, we try Maine Root Hand Crafted Root Beer and Clover Valley root beer.

While at Dragon*Con Christina and I got a chance to put the Zoom H4 to even more use and we sat in with a BUNCH of friends and were able to record a special episode of that wacky crazy Farpoint Media show: Wingin’ It 3D. It was a LOT of fun!

Holy cow! Just got the word a short while ago that PodCulture is once again a finalist in the Parsec Awards! This year we are up for not one, but TWO awards!

With all the other cool shows in the running with us….it will be one tough race, but man is it sure cool to even make the list! Wish us luck, and we shall see you at Dragon*Con 2008!

See Jill from The Signal podcast contacted Glenn and asked if he could record some of his thoughts of Firefly and Serenity for a series of mini-podcasts that they were going to be doing. This was to help promote the fact that The Signal was nominated for a Podcast Award and to encourage folk to vote for The Signal. I was just Wingin’ It…….

OK I wanted to let you guys know that this past weekend I was asked to fill in as co-host for the podcast Wingin’ It. The Ranting Scotsman, Ian, headed up a crazy crew along with Karen from Kalifornia, and Chris from Two Girls and a Podcast were in on the fun with me as we filled in for Mike and Evo. Christina even got in on the act too a bit as she was our no-so-silent audience. Since we got together via Skype to record the audio is a little rough, but we had a blast and were honored that the guys let us fill in for them while they were off doing other things. Head on over to Wingin’ It and check out show #69! Be sure to leave the guys a comment or two and let them know what you think. Who knows….maybe we’ll get the chance to do it again sometime.
