We are without Glenn this week, so what happens when Brad, Christina and Adam are left to their own devices? Tighten your trainers, it’s Tardis Interruptus!

Adam opens with an awful lot of running in the heat, and he has joined Christina in watching 30 Rock. Christina is loving the show, and talks about an article she has found about the characters. She and Brad have watched the Syfy mini-series, Phantom, and while she enjoyed it, he has issues with the interpretation. They are all anticipating…with horror…Sharktopus. Christina is giddy that she will be seeing The Phantom of the Opera with her mom soon, and defends her film collection. Brad has won a free download of Deadliest Warrior on Xbox Live, and while he’s grateful for the gift, he was let down by the actual game. Christina downloaded the trial of Monkey Island game on the 360, and while she loves the story and characters, she prefers the game play on the PC.

Glenn returns to share Geek Cuisine, and brings us limited edition Lightening Thief Airheads.

The Time Traveling Trio geek in depth, about the 2009 Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars. Each discusses what their favorite parts were and why. Having seen the completed tenure of Tennant, they muse how his character has grown and the scope he plays within during this special. Did the special leave you thirsty for more, or with a dry taste in your mouth? Let us know!

In closing, we suggest watching classic episodes of Doctor Who, 30 Rock and IT Crowd. Adam reminds us to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender (the series), and he is thrilled that a follow up series, “The Legend of Kora” is in the works. Brad has found an app so he can play Divx and Xvid files on his phone. Christina covets Bernard Cribbins for her grandfather, and shares the fact that he is a singer as well.

The band, Chameleon Circuit, has brought us the song, “An Awful Lot of Running” from their self-titled album. From the album Trock On! (A Collection of Who Inspired Songs), we have “Who Turned Out The Lights”, by Harriet Jones and the Former Prime Ministers and “My Name is John Smith (I Am The Doctor)”, by The Lonely Traveler.

We jump right into the bag of goodies this week, with Geek Cuisine! Our friend, Nick, sent us Doritos First and Second Degree Burn flavors to try! Find out who’s setting off alarms, who’s reaching for the milk and who is hungry for more! Christina makes a contribution to Geek Cuisine with her sugar free orange cream Tums.

Get the popcorn and blanket and get ready to watch some TV. Adam shares his new found love for the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He delves into the series, the art and the characters. We discuss the feature film and how M. Night Shyamalan’s career has progressed, for better or worse. Adam has seen Toy Story 3 in 3-D, and he shakes his fist at studios who try to upscale 2-D movies. They compare the visual spectacle of Avatar and await the re-release in the fall. Brad and Christina have found and caught up with the FX series Justified, and although it makes Christina a little unsettled to live in the Bluegrass State, the pair enjoyed it immensely. Brad introduced Christina to Dark Angel, and she makes the comparison to Dollhouse. Christina’s newest love is 30 Rock, and after a week, she’s finished with the first season. Glenn has been watching The Gates, and he is enjoying the improvement from episode to episode. He is an avid watcher of the new series, Haven and has even set his phone alarm to remind him to record. Brad and Christina missed the premiere of Warehouse 13, but having watched Stargate Continuum, share the story of the kindness of Cliff Simon. Christina is in geek heaven, now that series 4 of The I.T. Crowd has started, and converts episodes to watch on her phone. Glenn tells us that he’s finally found Dexter, and both he and Adam entice Brad and Christina to start watching. Finally, Christina praises the networks streaming content online, and Brad offers a solution to downloading issues.

Care to supersize your Geek Cuisine? We’ve got a second round this week! Glenn brings us York Peppermint Pattie Pieces. After the burnination of the first round, the brilliant coolness of York makes us a quartet of happy geeks. The gang shares stories of epic spilling of beverages, completed by Brad’s Big Red Incident of 2010.

In conclusion, Glenn is looking forward to seeing The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and everyone is anticipating The Expendables. Adam says to go watch the animated Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Christina asks for everyone’s top five Netflix queue lists.

Welcome back, Geeklings!

Christina opens this week with excitement over both the new TV shows
she is watching and the fact that she hasn’t taken hostages over her diet. Glenn is 98% finished with Red Dead Redemption, but is looking forward to what remains…with zombies. Adam regales the ill-fated maiden launch of his model rocket, the tree that ate it, and the hip he injured finding it. Brad teases us with the new games and toys he has bought, and shares the booty he found at the comic shop.

Game on! Aside from a bit of Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2, Glenn has spent most of his time with Red Dead Redemption. He has found a moment to download Blacklight (aka Darklight) Tango Down on XBox Live, and the guys discuss the merits of downloadable games. Brad and Adam talk about the expansion packs for Red Dead Redemption. Glenn is still waiting to play his copy of Alan Wake. When Adam isn’t playing Red Dead, he is playing Geometry Wars 2, and watching his roommate play Transformers: War for Cybertron. Christina shares the frightening resemblance of her Sims 3 characters to her real life apartment. Brad weaves his adventure of getting Blur for the PS3 and Glenn follows in his tail lights. Brad has downloaded Risk Factions and Puzzle Quest 2 on XBox Live. Finally, prepare the picnic, because he bought the guilty pleasure Naughty Bear for the 360! There is fluffy carnage all around!

We’re sweet and squishy, just like this week’s Geek Cuisine! Glenn brings us the puffy, pastel Marshmallow Pole. The innuendo flies, the candy is floppy, Adam almost kills Brad, but we managed to all agree this week!

Adam brings us all sorts of flora and fauna for Geek Cuisine! He shares Miracle Fruit Tablets from ThinkGeek.com. It transforms our taste buds and we enjoy lemons as easily as we would a sweet orange. Glenn ups the ante with Willy Wonka’s Sour Puckerooms.

Glenn opens this week’s TV and DVD talk with The Gates and The Phantom miniseries. How do you think Syfy’s miniseries hold up to their movies? Does it stand a chance? Adam has completed watching Legend of The Seeker, and it’s left him wanting more. Brad poses the Kahlan versus Cara question, and Adam’s brain melts. He has also picked back up with Primeval, but doesn’t quite know what to make of the cast changes. Christina has hopped back into Greg The Bunny, cried like a baby at the Glee finale. She is glad that True Blood has returned, but Adam was underwhelmed with the season premiere. Christina and Brad powered through Flash Forward, and both were almost as dazzled by the cast as they were by the frighteningly creepy premise. Brad finally watched Lie To Me with Christina, and to her detriment, it was a weak episode. Adam found the series Burn Notice, and is really enjoying everything about it so far. They quartet discuss Bruce Campbell, and she is the lone voice of dislike. Glenn has picked up Shutter Island, but was less than impressed. He enjoyed The Road with Viggo Mortensen. Brad is looking forward to The Walking Dead series. Christina watched the USA vs England in The World Cup, and the gang discusses the future of The Beautiful Game.

Adam is also suffering from artist block whilst working on a health-related piece. Christina hasn’t been up to much other than surviving her diet. Brad has been enjoying his new tech gear and watching TV with Christina.

The rEVOlution has come to PodCulture. Brad, Christina and Adam review their shiny brand new HTC Evo 4G phones. The trio share their adventures of laying hands on their phones from Best Buy and Radio Shack respectively. They discuss everything from screen size to sound quality. Brad compares the specs to the iPhone 4G and Adam can’t help but see the difference from his iPod Touch. Glenn had had the HTC HD2 for a little while now, and the boys compare notes including operating systems. Christina isn’t as wildly impressed as she had hoped to be…yet…and the gang lists the few and far between drawbacks they have found so far. While Glenn has T-Mobile and Adam has been a Sprint member for years, Christina and Brad have switched from over a decade of AT&T service. Adam opens this collection of tv goodness and he’s been watching Legend of The Seeker, as Christina shares one of her favorite anecdotes from the books. He has finished with Chuck and Castle and there are so many questions on either finale that they can hardly wait for the fall. Glenn has finished the third season of Charmed and he is patiently biding his time over the summer. He shares Doctor Who: Curse of the Fatal Death with the remaining three geeks, and everyone is thrilled. Christina is over the moon with the special, given all her favorite British comedy actors. Carly has convinced him to watch Blackadder on Netflix, and Christina adds her psychic moment for the day. Adam shares the loveliness of Life on blu-ray. Christina is still in love with Glee and despite his being unmoved by the episode he watched, keeps trying to get Brad to watch it. The pair have watched and really enjoyed Human Target, and are relieved to know there will be a second season. Christina is shocked to know that Rick Springfield was in the original. They’re watching the new K-9 series, but aren’t especially impressed. They’ve broken bread with Happy Town and are pleased so far.

They pour themselves a glass of milk for this week’s Geek Cuisine and twist the tops off Oreo Blizzard flavored Oreos. Brad shares that he is buying his favorite Jolly Ranchers in bulk from Amazon.

Before we close, Glenn geeks and tells about his new HD video camera, a Kodak Play Sport and Adam admits the unfortunate event in Red Dead Redemption.

The gang’s all here this week! Adam opens this week with stories (at least those he’s allowed to tell) of bachelor parties and weddings. He is all Chariots of Fire and is listening to Globus‘ cd Epicon while he runs. Glenn would rather fly than run as he puts in all kinds of extra hours, which is distracting him from the fact that his shows are completed for the season (or for good). Christina regales the story of her two-hearted baby in Sims 3, and shares her low carb diet in solidarity with her mom. Brad already misses his coworker and questions the point of meetings that don’t apply to him. Christina is listening to The Sword of Truth audiobooks and longs for another season of Legend of The Seeker.

Glenn pulls Candy Corn flavored Dots out of magic bag of Geek Cuisine! I don’t think a one of them could give them a thumbs up! Christina shares her cool whip and jello mix concoction. Feeling a bit guilty that Adam missed that Geek Cuisine, so he brought more Muddy Bears to share!

Christina opens some game talk with her love of Sims 3, telling the story of her little character being mauled by a bear in the cemetery. She also downloaded Angry Birds for her iPhone. Given the great selection of racing games out recently, Brad settled on ModNation Racers. With the customization of Little Big Planet and the wicked
power ups of Mario Kart, hilarity has definitely ensued. Glenn is playing Battlefield Bad Company 2, but has put it on hold until the new map packs come out. He still loves Modern Warfare 2 with the new Resurgence pack. He, Adam and Glenn have played the Halo Reach beta. Christina puts it out there to have a Fable-esque game for The Legend of The Seeker. The guys discuss differences and issues with MMO games. Adam and Glenn give a glowing geek review of Red Dead Redemption. They discuss the game play, the characters, the art and the action.

Ashlee talks about her Twi’lek costume. Brad shares the haul from Free Comic Book Day, including Invincible volume five and a Sinestro Corps shirt. Ashlee is excited about a spot on a roller derby team and the possibility of a new tattoo.

The Doctor Who review begins with the Flesh and Stone. Have we seen the last of The Weeping Angels? Do you see the same costume continuity error that Brad did? They discuss the origin of the crack in the wall and this new hot-headed doctor. Is River Song to be trusted? Who was the man she killed? Who is she really? Let us know what you think! Christina vents about how she feels about Amy after her amorous attack on the Doctor.

Vampires of Venice find Rory, Amy and The Doctor nearly sleeping with the fishes. Adam loved the open, finding The Doctor at Rory’s stag party, and we all agree that we’re thoroughly enjoying spazzy Doctor. Everyone loves Rory, and we take sides as to whether or not he could take Mickey in a fight. Brad’s favorite scene is the Doctor’s excitement in a room full of vampires. Christina’s favorite moment is his mention of Casanova and tries to convince the boys to watch David Tennant’s movie. The Doctor Who Confidential for this episode was a great documentary in Venice, and Brad laments the cut down episodes aired in the States.

In closing, they speculate about Amy’s Choice and what will be next for Amy and The Doctor. Christina poses the question to the ladies who listen, “If you were going to throw yourself at a Doctor, which would you choose?” Is there anyone who would choose anyone beside Doctor Ten?

Prodigal geeks return! Join Brad and Christina and give a warm welcome to Ashlee, back in the studio from the wilds of Washington, and Glenn back from his work-induced hiatus.

Tis the season for finales! Glenn and Brad talk about the charm of V and whether it holds up to the previous incarnation. He introduces us to Happy Town, skirting anything that might spoil us, while Brad drops the news that it is most likely canceled already. Is the gorgeous Amy Acker the kiss of death? Glenn is anticipating The Gates series and The Cape. Ashlee has started watching Chuck and we’re all thrilled that is has been picked up for another season. Christina broke her anti-American Idol rule and bought Zachary Levi’s duet with Katharine McPhee, which brings Brad to the tale of IMAX disappointment. The quartet discuss Iron Man 2. Brad compares the villains to the comic book counterparts and Christina swoons over the Al Pacino-ness of Robert Downey, Jr. Ashlee encourages us to catch Losers. They mull the pronunciation of Thor’s hammer and mourn the remake of their favorite 80’s movies. Christina notices Martha Plimpton from Goonies in a recent episode of Fringe. In the absence of cable, Ashlee is watching Archer, Big Bang Theory, Chuck and Castle. Ashlee discusses the prolific Twitter posting of our dear Brad, who teases Glenn about the strangeness of his posts. They wonder how Supernatural can top itself next season, and Christina sings the Ghostfacers theme song. She still proclaims her Gleekness, and hopes to get Brad to watch the Joss Whedon and Neil Patrick Harris episode of Glee. Ashlee shares the love of Neil Patrick Harris in Batman: The Brave and the Bold playing the Music Meister. She is freaking herself out by watching Marble Hornets. Glenn gets his revenge on with Mel Gibson’s Edge of Darkness, Christina awaits the A-Team, an Ashlee is looking forward to The Expendables. They discuss whether “guy movies” appeal to women because of the action or because of the eye candy.

Guilty Pleasures returns! Thanks to Carly, Glenn brings us Troll! After forcing the previews of Troll and Troll 2 on us, Glenn regales the 80’s cult train wreck. If it couldn’t get any creepier, the child star of the original is releasing The Best Worst Movie, a documentary of the making.

We jump right in to our review of episode three, Victory of The Daleks. Adam notices the throwback to the retro format of the show and loves the mashup of the WWII spitfires against the uber-futuristic Dalek ship. Christina is wildly impressed with the Confidential for this episode, and the sheer attention to detail of the war rooms. They all take a moment to muse on the American understanding of the pride in “the last good war”. Brad talks about the bright new Daleks and about the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” Dalek video on YouTube. How would you feel if you were suddenly told that you were a robot designed by evil aliens? What would Davros think of this new generation of Daleks? Is Rory the new Mickey?

River song is back, bringing legions of stone in Time of Angels. Rumors fly about the origin of the future Mrs. Doctor. Christina especially appreciates the lack of tension between River and Amy, as there had been with Rose and Sarah Jane back in School Reunion. Adam is reminded of Warhammer 40K, having the clerics as soldiers. Are The Angels the scariest Doctor Who monster? Are the dilapidated statues more frightening than the divine?

Where will it go from here? We share some expectations of the rest of the season. Everyone’s excited about Matt Smith on Sarah Jane Adventures as well as the appearance of Jo Grant with her fellow former companion.

Before we hop in the Tardis, Adam is doing his best to find balance between work, gaming and enjoying the spring. Christina is back from her week in Cleveland and her grandpa’s funeral. She shows off her new tattoo, and beams with pride that her mom and aunt all got inked at the same time in honor of him. Brad has played a little Star Trek Online following the lovely remodel of the studio. Christina is grateful for the computer and The Sims 3 that Brad gave her for her birthday.

He aims to get back to his rendering, and, like Brad, has picked up Avatar on blu-ray. Brad’s collection has also grown by Speed Racer on blu-ray, if for no other reason than the color and art. The two both have Sherlock Holmes and find it fantastic. Shane segues into the Green Lantern movie, and the guys discuss the sticking points on their wish list. When he’s not been busy with school, Shane has been playing Final Fantasy XIII. He has beaten Bioshock 2, God of War 3 and Mass Effect 2 while keeping up with television. He and Brad discuss comic book animated movies and look forward to Public Enemies 2. Brad talks about his Gamefly booty call, and getting Blazblue, Tatsunoku vs Capcom, Brutal Legend and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The trio returns for another Geek Cuisine, and they take one (or three) for Dewmocracy. They try the new flavors of Mountain Dew. Find out if the boys prefer Typhoon, White Out or Distortion Dew.

Brad brings up the multiplayer issues, and bad respawn points, in Star Trek Online, as well as the good and bad voice work in the game.

Her find of the week is BBC’s Casanova, starting David Tennant. She totally squees over this Whoapalooza of characters, and appreciates the modernly artistic views on costumes. Speaking of Who, Brad and Christina are watching Law & Order: UK, and love spotting the Whovian actors. They’re also keeping up with Castle, and enjoying the new seasons of Being Human and Survivors. The latter is the series based on the story by Terry Nation, and the pair marvel at the amount of storytelling done in each and every episode. The pair discuss Sanctuary, and Christina still thinks that Robin Dunne looks like he could play Spike’s little brother. Christina finds an article about undiscovered gems of tv, and is looking forward to finding The Inbetweeners. Brad and Adam discuss Dollhouse, and anticipate how it will end. Christina enjoys Topher and Enver Gjokaj’s portrayal of him all the more. Glenn, Brad and Christina take a moment to talk about Heroes, and the story lines that have died and been altered over the seasons. Brad went to the comic shop on Wednesday, and has picked up The Supernatural and Jericho comics.

Adam opens this week with his busy week at work and playing the Star Trek beta. Glenn is caught up with shows that are now back from their break. They’re loving Chuck, Supernatural, and Christina is hopelessly in love with Walter on Fringe. The boys eagerly await Lord of the Rings on blu-ray, and Christina is enjoying the Fringe bloopers. Glenn isn’t ready Prestige again in Modern Warfare 2. Christina has had her fill of the long days at work, and had a most bogus experience at the hospital. Glenn hasn’t been able to fly because of the fog, which leads Adam and Christina to geek about the gorgeously English weather.

Brad and Adam (and Christina, a little bit) have been playing the ghe’tor out of the Star Trek Online beta. Glenn and Adam try to convince Christina to watch all the movies, and she concedes for the love of Stewart and Nimoy. Both Adam and Brad have pre-ordered it through Steam, and discuss the extra goodies it will include. Being a total MMO noob, Brad is learning the ropes via the Star Trek ranks. Adam finds out the multiplication properties of Tribbles, and Christina still thinks they should be used as currency. Adam has played the beta for Star Wars Galaxies and the Lord of the Rings MMO, as well as having dabbled mildly in World of Warcraft. In his geek-honored opinion, he worries about interface issues, but looks forward to how the game will grow. They talk about some of the funnier glitches, and some of the nods to cannon characters. Despite being a World of Warcraft genius, Glenn has not signed up for the Starfleet. He and Adam talk game mechanics, and he sways toward picking it up. Christina knows nowt of Star Trek beyond the appreciation of Julian Bashir hotness and Troi hair envy. Still, she enjoys the gorgeous graphics, and enjoyed dipping her toe into the pool of character creation. Brad talks about his character’s visit to Deep Space 9, and they all look forward to future updates. Brad talks about the various subscription packs and options. What do you think? As one of her oldest fandoms, she revels in her dorkitude. Brad and Glenn both have season 2 of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. Glenn has the last two seasons of 24 on dvd, but hasn’t yet watched one episode of the series. Christina announces that she has finally seen National Lampoons Christmas Vacation for the very first time, much to the marvel of the guys. Adam shares his favorite Chevy Chase monologue from the movie. Everyone is happy that Chuck is back on, and Adam is caught up with Supernatural. Brad and Christina have watched Tim Burton’s “9″.

Brad, Adam and Christina open this special episode with chat of their holidays! Adam spent the festivities weekend with his family, while Brad and Christina enjoyed a quiet Christmas. Adam and Christina agree that giving presents is so much more fun than receiving. The geekiest thing he got was the Doctor Who Visual Dictionary from one the siblings he got hooked on Who, and he gave them Whovian presents in return. Brad has a hard time picking his geekiest present, but it must include his Time Lord box of goodies from Christina. She picked almost everything out on Zaniahz.com. It included the set of Time Squad figures, The Art of Destruction novel, a Tosh Torchwood figure, and an autographed photograph of David Tennant and Freema Agyeman. To celebrate both the New Year and the new Doctor, she surprises Adam with a t-shirt from ThinkGeek.com, with the Tardis on it, that reads “You Never Forget Your First Doctor”.

Andy opens our tv and dvd segment with one of Christina’s favorite shows ever, Father Ted. He and his wife are going through Buffy before they pick up Babylon 5. He and his son are watching Fascape when he isn’t watching (proper) football. Brad shows off his shiny new entire collection of Farscape. We all marvel at the genius of Lani Tupu. Glenn is all caught up on Fringe, and going through hiatus withdrawal for his group of shows. He is still enjoying Conspiracy Theory. He and Carly are making their way though Charmed, and he has picked up the newest Harry Potter. Adam is almost caught up with Supernatural, and Better Off Ted, and the gang takes a moment to talk about Dollhouse. This leads to talk of the slew of Firefly and Serenity content and merchandise coming soon. Adam has also been watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Hulu.com, so he has begun watching season one again. Brad and Christina are loving Fringe, Castle, and Big Bang Theory. Christina compares the latest episode of Big Bang Theory to how she outsourced her Green Lantern crash course to Scott. Christina is loving the Alice miniseries on Syfy, and is loving Andrew Lee Potts as a tough guy. They have also watched Doctor Who Dreamland, the animated Doctor special also starring the lovely voice of Georgia Moffett. Christina loved the season finale of Glee, and is still adoring Lie To Me.

She talks about the glitch in her favorite Imagine Poker game for the iPhone, and after writing to customer service, she has nothing but the best to say about the gang at Candywriter. For the great service Christina had, Brad had a bad turn with a Razor Lycosa keyboard he bought. Brad is still saving his last Left 4 Dead campaign for a really bad day, but all the guys are looking forward to The Passing, the union of the two sets of game zombie-killing posses. Andy asks for your casting suggestions for the dream-world “Left 4 Dead” movie. Brad is playing Phantasy Star Zero on the DS. Glenn tells us more about his exploring further in Modern Warfare. Christina pales in comparison to her gamer geekboys, but is ever in search of her next Virtual Villagers-type game.

He and Carly have started watching Fringe, which excites Christina to no end. She wants him to watch the new Prisoner so he can explain things to her. Brad is finally getting into True Blood, and is catching up to where Christina and Adam have left off. Christina is in her bunk at the suggestion of a fight between Spike and Eric. (Ladies, take a moment to think about that one.) She and Brad are watching Law and Order: UK with Freema Agyeman and Jamie Bamber. Glenn is watching Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura. Brad is lamenting the cancellation of Dollhouse, but looking forward to the two hour blocks each Friday. Christina got weepy during the second-to-last episode of Glee. Adam is watching the usual Castle and Big Bang Theory, as well as Lock and Load. He is finally into the current season of Supernatural. He has watched Inglorious Bastards, and the gang discusses what we normally expect from Quentin Tarantino versus what the movie brings. Brad happily brought home Star Trek on blu ray.

In closing, Brad tries to convince Adam to buy a Nintendo DS. Christina suggests enjoying the outdoors before it gets seriously cold, and Adam hopes his job doesn’t deport him to Green Bay for training. The gang talks about their gamer tags on the 360, and the guys invite everyone to play Left 4 Dead 2. He tells us about the trailer of what’s to come in Aion, and can’t wait! Adam explains, and confuses Christina, about the timey-wimey new update of World of Warcraft.

The boys still debate which platforms to play which games on, while Adam is still carrying out the zombie massacre in Left 4 Dead 2. He tips the scale of debate with the temptation of moding different levels of the game on the PC. Brad and Adam loved the easter eggs in the game, including Jonathan Coulton’s “Re: Your Brains” and “Still Alive”. Brad shares his favorite Ellis story, and Christina tips her hat to Andy’s observation. They all discuss their favorite zombie weapons. Christina shares her recipe for Zombie Arms, after which, she considers becoming vegetarian. If you’d like the recipe, e-mail her!

Brad has picked up Super Mario Brothers for the Wii, and rocks it old school. Christina shares how she and Brad win Christmas, and what they got for Brad’s sister and family. Adam bites the bullet and buys a ginormous 60″ television so he’ll have it when he buys his house.

Brad has found one other game related gem in the R4 card for the Nindendo DS. He was able to put all the games he has onto one memory card, so he can carry his entire collection around at once. Given the pandora’s box of games to try, surely he’ll have lots of new games to review for future episodes! For his first go around, he shares what he thinks about the Doctor Who Top Trumps game. Christina and Brad try to tempt Adam and Glenn to join the madness!

Glenn is been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and unlocking challenges and weapon upgrades. Speaking of weapons, he has also picked up Left 4 Dead 2 as Adam has. Adam has also been up to lots of work, and planning for his Mammoth Cave caving trip with his sister. His work on the Bellflower is amping up again, and he has been inventing some digital nature. Christina and Brad have been keeping up with their usual suspects of television, and Christina is on the second to last Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse novel. Brad had been killing him some zombies in Left 4 Dead 2, too. Adam questions whether he likes the first game’s cast better than his one, or if Ellis takes the cake. Which do you prefer? Who would you cast as the Left 4 Dead crews? Brad used his birthday gift card to get the new Super Mario Bros game for the Wii. Christina is still going to the pool, albeit begrudgingly, for exercise, and Brad blames the slow-poke runners on Thanksgiving Day.

If you don’t wish to be spoiled by Dollhouse goodness, you may want to skip from about the 13 minute point. Find out what die hard fan Brad has to say about the mid-season premiere. What impresses Christina, who is a less than stellar fan, about the show in general? What admission does Christina makes about her own character flaw? Adam treads the middle waters between the two of them, enjoying some and being disappointed in other things.

Thank you to Darryl for his voicemail! He has been watching MI5 and Jekyll on his Netflix streaming, and loving it! He agrees with Christina’s point about Dollhouse and Echo, and agrees with Adam on the point of slow storytelling. For Glenn, he feels the Call of Duty love!

Glenn has picked up Star Trek on blu-ray, and Adam’s got the shiny edition with the replica pins from Quantum Mechanix. Glenn also got the Watchmen Ultimate Collection on blu-ray, and the boys discuss the massive amount of extras, and the motion comic.

Brad and Christina are watching the usual suspects of television, and sucked into Netflix. She is loving Glee and Lie To Me, and the pair are knee deep in adoration for Fringe. Brad has got her watching The Avengers, and they’re enjoying Peter Davison Doctor Who stories. They are delving into The Prisoner remake and both are vastly confused, but liking it. The actor Christina can’t think of the name of is Lennie James, and they discuss the swapping of accents in actors. Brad is looking forward to Rex Is Not Your Lawyer with David Tennant. Christina made Brad watch Waiting for God and Red Dwarf. Glenn is caught up on Heroes, and Adam is finally in to season five of Supernatural. Adam and Christina both enjoyed the most recent episode of Stargate Universe, but Brad found it lacking. Christina hears the listeners sharpen their pitchforks when she admits just how weak her geek-fu is. She hasn’t seen New Moon yet, and the guys aren’t looking forward to Underworld 4. Glenn keeps trying to get Christina to watch The Vampire Diaries.

Just because she loves Tom Smith, Christina forgives him for this song we’re sharing, “New Moon”.

Andy leaves a voicemail for us about The Who playing the halftime show at the Superbowl, Sherlock Holmes’ awesome action, Left 4 Dead 2 and how Ellis reminded him of Brad.

In closing, Christina wishes everyone happy Thanksgivinginess, and Adam still wants night vision goggles. Glenn is dreading the hiatus for the shows he loves, and looking forward to Lost coming back on February 2nd. All’s fair in love and video games. Glenn is passionate about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. So much so, he has got the Prestige Edition, including the actual (and freaking hella awesome) night vision goggles. He discusses many aspects of the game, his favorite features, and the extra spiffiness of his edition. Adam hasn’t been playing much, but he is busy watching movies and creating gorgeous 3D art. Christina, too, has had her schedule filled with watching things, instead of playing. She is ridiculously happy with Netflix, including enjoying cartoons like Kipper. Brad makes up for both of them, playing his thumbs off with Left 4 Dead 2! Christina finds that Ellis reminds her of Jason Stackhouse from True Blood, but she is still creeped out watching it. The boys talk about the awesomeness of the new weapons, and the detailed gross ways to rekill the undead. Brad and Adam debate the differences between playing a first person shooter on a console versus on a computer. Glenn shares the good news that he has won a copy of Operation Flashpoint!

We are of peace. We are of geek. The foursome talks about the reboot
of V.Glenn gives us a brief Previously on V summary, and as Browncoats, they appreciate Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk. Brad and Glenn compare it to the original, as Adam and Christina mark the obvious political references. During the V comparison to Battlestar Galactica, Christina poses the choice; Anna or Six? Should we give it a season to find its feet, like Stargate Universe? Will the BSG-ness of Stargate Universe be its undoing?

Christina and Brad have plowed through all of the existing episodes of Fringe. The lady is in love and squeeing! Christina’s conscience is struggling not to admit she enjoys it more than she did X-Files, but is losing the battle! She discusses her favorite character, Walter Bishop, and his notes on Fox’s website. Brad is enjoying Leonard Nimoy’s cameo, and they’re loving the J.J. Abrams easter eggs. Adam is almost caught up with Supernatural and the gang absolutely loved the
Halloween episode of Castle. He is enjoying Big Bang Theory, and speaking of big bangs, is watching MythBusters. Find out what Brad tells Christina to make her drop the f-bomb (it must be bad!) about Lie To Me. Yes, she knows she will probably get hate mail for this one, but she can’t tell a lie!

Our scary soundtrack for this Halloween includes “Brains” by Settle For Second, “Ban Halloween” by Judge Clarkie, “PC Halloween” by Devo Spice and “Spring Heeled Jack” by Lemon Demon.

The show is flying at half-cast this week as Adam and Brad steer the good ship PodCulture into another week of geektacular goodness.

The guys kick the show off with review of Battlestar Galactica: The Plan. Was it good? Was it bad? What did YOU think?

After that follows some chatter on videogames. Brad is playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Xbox 360, and Scribblenauts for the Nintendo DS. Having taken Glenn’s suggestion Adam is getting into Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising for the PC while also finding time for some more Halo 3: ODST on the Xbox 360. Plus he is also looking forward to Modern Warfare 2.

The voicemail line for PodCulture sees some action as Krazy Joe from MegaPodzilla calls in with his own thoughts on and review of The Big Bang Theory.

And the show winds up with Brad and Adam following up their discussion on Stargate: Universe. Now that the show has had a few more episodes shown, has their views changed? Tune in and find out!

Glenn has finished ODST in “normal” mode, is loving Aion, and looking forward to Modern Warfare. Check the closet for pods, because Glenn has NOT been playing World of Warcraft. He is playing Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and reminisced about his growth as a FPS player. Brad is anticipating the Star Trek MMO. Ashlee has been working through inner demons, playing Resident Evil. Christina is coming up with gold from her AppMiner app on her iPhone, enjoying the random programs and games she has found. Speaking of phones, Glenn has got his eye on the HTC HD 2. Ashlee shares the timey-wimey Google Earth 5. Brad has got the zombie teddy bear from Epic Pet Wars, and has beaten iDigit. Ashlee questions the addiction to Cafe World on Facebook. Christina has complained to the makers of Pocket Farm for the iPhone because it keeps rebooting her progress. Brad tells us about Newsfeed on his phone, and has gathered up his favorite geek rags. The gang queries the planetness of Pluto and the destruction of the moon.

Ashlee takes the reigns and lets us know that while she’s caught up with Better Off Ted and the season premiere of Castle, she’s behind on Big Bang Therory. Brad isn’t as impressed with the sophomore season of Castle so far, and they discuss the story arc involved. Adam lets us know that Nathan Fillion continues a Twitter account in character as Richard Castle. Are there characters or celebrities that you follow?

Brad and Christina have discovered, and fell in love with, Warehouse 13. Adam is finishing up the second gig of Ghost In The Shell and Christina is giggly about Glee.

At the theater, Adam is looking forward to Zombieland. Ashlee and Christina are eagerly awaiting The Princess and The Frog. Brad begins the discussion about who is, and who isn’t, “technically” a real princess. Christina brings up the matricidal issues of the Disney movies, and Brad brings up the fact that they’ve now bought the Marvel empire.

There be geekin’ and there be tellin’. Ashlee brought her Ice mask from David Mack’s store, which she will transform into a Kabuki mask. Brad shows of his cd from the group The Browncoats at Dragon Con. Meanwhile, Adam drooled over the Serenity model at the Quantum Mechanix booth at the Con. At the same booth, Brad picked up a Fruity Oaty Bar lithograph. Later on, he found a Jennifer Keller action figure from Stargate: Atlantis. Speaking of QMX, Brad received the Jayne “Little Damn Heroes” maquette. It wouldn’t be a Geek And Tell if Brad didn’t have Transformers! This time, though , they’re in the odd form of Mighty Muggs! Christina bought him two geek shirts for his birthday. One being the Tardis vs. Delorean t-shirt from Woot.com, and the other being the Con exclusive Green Lantern “Will” shirt from the Blackest Night series, from StylinOnline.com. Ashlee tells us about the scary Galaxy Empire figures she found at the Peddler’s Mall.

In closing, Glenn’s watched Creepshow 3 on Netflix, and says “Don’t do it!”. Okay, listeners. This is Glenn. When Glenn says not to watch something, does it scare you, or make you all the more curious? Christina’s final thought is for everyone to watch the BBC series Black Books. Adam says, “Watch Castle and Big Bang Theory!” Ashlee may be off to the great white Washington State, but we shan’t let her be totally free of our geek madness! Brad closes, imploring is to play  Halo 3 and to watch the Joss-tastic Dollhouse!

Take a listen as the crew and Felicia discuss “Life in the Dollhouse” and take Q and A from the audience. We had a fantastic time doing the panel with Felicia (not to mention finally meeting each other in person) and we hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did recording it!

Glenn starts us off anticipating the new fall television lineup, and we’re all looking forward to various things. Tell us what you’ll be recording this fall!

There’s tellin’ and there’s geekin’! Andy’s been beta testing Champions Online and Aion (which Glenn has been enjoying as well!). Brad is playing Mafia Wars, Koala Darts, Epic Pet Wars and Vampires on his iphone, and is hooked on I Dig It. His guilty pleasure is the Dr. Horrible remote control. Adam’s got 3D Coaster on his phone, and Free Space 2 on his computer. Glenn’s downloaded Battlefield 1943 from xBox Live.

Live, and will be picking up Gears of War 2. Ashlee’s brushing up on her mad Halo skills, and got back into Fallout. She’s got Stone Loops on her ipod. Christina is ridiculously excited about Beatles: Rockband, and the gang is looking forward to Batman Arkham Asylum.

He’s watched Ghost In The Shell: Standalone Complex, and he and Ashlee fill us in on their favorite characters. Andy’s enjoying The I.T. Crowd! Christina is
watching Black Books, having enjoyed Run Fatboy Run and How To Lose Friends and Alienate People. Brad and Christina have been watching BBC’s Robin Hood, and Glenn reminds us of Rocket Robin Hood. Brad is enjoying streaming (most recently Star Trek Deep Space Nine) to the XBox from Media Center on Windows 7. Ashlee is watching Buffy, Angel, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the Australian talk show, Rove Daily.

Glenn is watching Warehouse 13, and the gang wonders about Stargate Universe (or as Adam calls it “Battlegate Voyager”). Battlestar Galactica: The Movie is coming! Brad and Christina watched the entire series of Merlin and began to watch Robin Hood. Adam is loving Better Off Ted, and FINALLY got to watching frelling Farscape! He’s looking forward to Ghost In The Shell:Stand Alone Complex. Christina needs to catch up with Robot Chicken. We’re all massively excited about Iron Man 2, and there are mixed feelings about Sherlock Holmes. Glenn’s finished Moonlight and is catching up with Dresden Files and Tru Calling. Brad points out a shout out to Dresden Files in a Supernatural novel. Christina’s finished the fifth season of So You Think You Can Dance.
We’re all looking forward to District 9. Glenn’s seen G.I. Joe and he gives us his review.

In closing, Christina and Brad want to see Super Capers. Glenn lets us know about the open beta for Aion, and wishes Marvel Comics a happy 70th birthday! Christina’s read Green Lantern: Rebirth. Glenn shows off his new World Of Warcraft figures and got a two pack of murlocks for Carly. He’s picked up the fourth collection in the Empowered story.

Adam’s added a USB display for his computer, and Ashlee’s got an Iron Man model and debates whether or not to paint it. Ryan got a model of the Enterprise, and one of The Jupiter II he’s reserving for his “retirement projects”. He’s been trying to catch up on comics, and picked up some hardcover compilations, including Sinestro Corps and Guardian of the Galaxy.

He’s also got Knowing (which he hasn’t seen yet), and Push, which borrows from Firestarters but doesn’t quite live up to his expectations. The guys share about Fantastic 4. Adam’s been watching Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina, and he and Ashlee compare notes. Ryan is picking up classic blu-ray sci-fi, including Kurt Russell’s The Thing. Will there be a prequel? Is it a “guy movie”? Do you watch movies in production order, or storyline order? Do you have to watch Mad Max to appreciate Road Warrior?

Coming full circle, the gang compares the remastered episodes of the classic Star Trek series to the original episodes, both on the blu-ray set.

Glenn’s looking forward to the live action Green Lantern movie, starring Ryan Reynolds, and he lets us know about the World of Warcraft movie. Adam’s watching Batteries Not Included on Netflix, and Glenn fills us in on the remake of Flight of The Nagivator. The gang talk about E3, and the games they’ve been playing. They anticipate Left 4 Dead 2, which leads to a discussion about easter eggs in games, and downloadable content expanding the game experience, as in Fable 2. Everyone’s looking forward to the sequel to Bioshock. Brad’s picked up Sonic’s Ultimate Collection, and they talk about the Sega Genesis and the FC3 console. Ashlee discusses Project Natel, and the gang anticipates the Star Wars RPG to come. Ashlee is heartbroken at the sequel to Knights of the Republic, and enjoyed her foray into Christina’s Little Big Planet. Adam has played the demo for Infamous and has found it quite cool, as well as Killzone 2. They poll each other as to which console controllers are superior. What do you think? Let us know! Brad’s exploring Windows 7, and toying with the new version of Ubuntu. The pair talk about the less-than-stellar service they had a TGI Friday’s on Derby Day.

The gang discuss their expectations about Star Trek. Will this reboot be able to fill the giant sci-fi shoes of Transformers and the sleek Armani suit of James Bond? Christina chides William Shatner, and they discuss their fears and hopes for the franchise.

After Big Spock Star by The Great Luke Ski, the group returns from seeing Star Trek in the theater, with one excpetion. The female piece of the quartet has been wonderfully filled in by Stunt-Christina (aka Ashlee)!

We open this episode of PodCulture wondering why were aren’t all at the theater seeing “Watchmen”. Glenn will be going to the gun show, and working hard during ratings month. The team talks about the unexpected death of Knight Rider. Christina’s been watching Leverege, the US Life On Mars, and adored the rest of America’s Best Dance Crew.

We begin this week’s show with new music and movies! Glenn’s picked up some Train cds and Evanescence cds. Adam’s picked up Wall-E, and we talk about the possibility of PodCulture Science Theater. Brad got the 20-cd set Hits From The Musicals from his mom, and they picked up a Jim Butcher novel on cd read by James Marsters. Brad got the cd “Gotta Fly” by Marian Call, and Christina has found her theme tune.

Brad got Christina the two pack of X-Files movies, Mamma Mia and Hairspray on Blu-ray, while Christina got Brad Batman:Dark Knight and Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles. She also got him X-Men Minimates that came with an X-Men dvd. The pair finally have Big Bang Theory, the first season of 4400 and Doctor Who:The Infinite Quest. Brad gets his kung fu on with The Forbidden Kingdom, and the gang talks about digital copies of movies. Could Brad possibly have any more versions of Serenity? He can now! On Blu-ray! Christina has Shaun the Sheep:Off the Baa on dvd, and Brad makes Christina cry with the 25th Anniversary Complete Collection of Fraggle Rock for Christmas.

We’re Tellin’ and Geekin’! Brad’s got a gaggle of Green Lantern figures, including a new box set, Toma Re, another Hal Jordan, an animated style Sinestro and a six piece Toys R Us Exclusive set. Plus a DC Universe Infinite Heroes set with Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Black Canary.

In closing, Christina talks about her shirt from Elizabeth that reads “Mom says I ride the short bus because I’m special”. We talk about all the things we loved about 2008.
