It’s the Big Apple Episode!
Adam’s been in Wisconsin, and tells us about The Tilted Kilt. Glenn’s been creating Death Knights, and playing Call of Duty. Brad’s been playing the expansion of Fable 2, and trying to upgrade to Vista on the main pc. Christina is in the middle of a House marathon, watching Blackpool. Adam is finally getting into Doctor Who, and finished the first season of Supernatural. Brad and Christina have seen Wicked, the musical.
We go SuperGeek on iPhones and iPod Touches! We talk about our favorite apps, our favorite features, and things that we would improve. Glenn talks about the reasons he doesn’t have one. Is there such a thing as too much convenience? What do you love about yours? If you don’t have one, what are your reasons?

It was a Blu-ray Christmas in PodCultureland!
We begin this week’s show with new music and movies! Glenn’s picked up some Train cds and Evanescence cds. Adam’s picked up Wall-E, and we talk about the possibility of PodCulture Science Theater. Brad got the 20-cd set Hits From The Musicals from his mom, and they picked up a Jim Butcher novel on cd read by James Marsters. Brad got the cd “Gotta Fly” by Marian Call, and Christina has found her theme tune.
Brad got Christina the two pack of X-Files movies, Mamma Mia and Hairspray on Blu-ray, while Christina got Brad Batman:Dark Knight and Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles. She also got him X-Men Minimates that came with an X-Men dvd. The pair finally have Big Bang Theory, the first season of 4400 and Doctor Who:The Infinite Quest. Brad gets his kung fu on with The Forbidden Kingdom, and the gang talks about digital copies of movies. Could Brad possibly have any more versions of Serenity? He can now! On Blu-ray! Christina has Shaun the Sheep:Off the Baa on dvd, and Brad makes Christina cry with the 25th Anniversary Complete Collection of Fraggle Rock for Christmas.
Dark Chocolate Cherry 3-Musketeers are this week’s Geek Cuisine. Can you believe Brad and Glenn were frat boys?
We’re Tellin’ and Geekin’! Brad’s got a gaggle of Green Lantern figures, including a new box set, Toma Re, another Hal Jordan, an animated style Sinestro and a six piece Toys R Us Exclusive set. Plus a DC Universe Infinite Heroes set with Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Black Canary.
In closing, Christina talks about her shirt from Elizabeth that reads “Mom says I ride the short bus because I’m special”. We talk about all the things we loved about 2008.

Welcome back, Geeklings!
Glenn kicks off the Geeking and Telling, and has been stockpiling with Batman Begins, Resident Evil: Degeneration, Eagle Eye and Big Bang Theory on dvd. He’s also added to his game collection Frontlines: Fuel of War, and is enjoying Fallout when he isn’t playing Left 4 Dead. Glenn and the guys talk about nitpicks about the game, as well as favorite bits. Which zombie is your favorite? What would you name your zombie poodle? Do you prefer games like it for the 360 or the PC? Tell us! Brad got Elite Beat Agents for Christina on the Nintendo DS. Brad also gets his superhero fight on with Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Once more into the Jones Soda Vault go these brave geeks! We rewind the holidays and enjoy Halloween Buried Pomegranate, Candy Corn, Dread Apple and Blood Orange soda. Brad tells us about the site that’s trying to take our name away.
Christina continues Geek And Tell with her Edward Cullen from the Twilight series and a Hiro Nakamura action figures. Do you open your action figures, or do they remain in the packaging? Let us know? Brad got Christina an autographed Torchwood photograph of John Barrowman.
Brad’s got a Mutt Williams figure to go with his Transformers figures, a Wonder Woman figure, and a Batman Beyond figure from Target. A collector set of Batman Pez dispensers and three Babylon 5 figures complete his most recent acquisitions.

Adam has finally given in and joined Facebook and Twitter, and Christina gets on her soap box about methods of getting in touch versus the depth of communication. Let us know what you think? Is she wrong, or may she have a point?
Five Geeks-a-Getting….
Glenn got Left 4 Dead and Fallout 3 for the 360 for Christmas, as well as some geek shirts. Ashlee tells the story of the person who won a thousand dollars for getting ten thousand achievement points. Would you do it? Adam got a custom Lego Battlestar ship from his friend, Richard, from LegoFactory.com, and the Battlestar Galactica Board Game from Kevin and Maria. Ashlee got an iPod Touch. Nick gave her a Mirror’s Edge bag and World War Z by Max Brooks (and picked up The Zombie Survival Guide for herself) and Umbrella Academy. Christina has a geekgasm of stuff or Christmas (including her Twilight action figure), but her sentimental favorite is her percolator coffee pot from Brad. Brad got practical things from his mom, and an autographed first edition of Lion Among Men by Gregory Maguire. Christina got him green Chuck Taylors and other assorted goodies to be talked about later.

Brad and Christina have FINALLY gotten to see Batman: The Dark Knight, and the gang talks about what they think. Do you love Heath Ledger’s Joker? Do you have a favorite Joker actor? What villans should be in the next Batman movie? Who made the better Two Face?
