Welcome back for another dweeb-filled episode of PodCulture!
Guilt becomes us all as Glenn brings Cat People for our pleasure, and we pile on the guilt talking about the revamped Knight Rider.
Matthew from Michigan shares his review of Jumper.
Pucker up, geeks! This week’s cuisine is Neapolitan Hershey Kisses!
Christina starts off with the almost-antique X-Files Game for the PC, and Brad follows up with Portal and Orange Box. Glenn tells us about Half Life, and Brad rants about the XBox Live debacle (bit of a swearing spoiler if your kids are listening). Christina and Brad talk about Uno, and Glenn shows off the newest addition to his firearms collection.
Promos come graciously from Infected by Scott Sigler, and thanks to Hot Waffles for “Makin’ Love Like A Geek”.

Geeks, start your engines! The Culture Crew recorded early this week because Nascar had it’s opening race!
Brad and Christina have happily upped their cable package and Glenn’s been playing Tabula Rasa, and has finally gotten his Staff of Infinite Mystery from WoW. Brad and Christina talk about the differences between Nascar and drag racing, and the gang discusses the new Speed Racer. Glenn gives a shout out to David Mack, announcing his new childrens book “The Shy Creatures”.
In our dvd players this week, Brad and Christina have been watching Torchwood. They debate Freema Ageyman versus Billie Piper. They’ve watched Flash Gordon, Stargate Atlantis, and talk about Stargate: Ark of Truth. They rejoice the end of the writers’ strike, Glenn’s watching Jericho, and is finishing up the second season of Lost. Glenn’s bought The Brave One, and following the Naveen Andrews theme, they argue whether or not English Patient is strictly a “chick” movie. Brad’s got Death Proof, and they’ve picked up the first four seasons of 24 for hellacheap on dvd. Enticing Glenn with his copy, Brad talks him into buying his own copy of Blade:Season 1. Christina’s got the Collector’s Edition of Dark Crystal, and received Across The Universe from Brad for Valentine’s Day. Glenn finally got to watching Blood & Chocolate, and looks forward to seeing Jumper at the theater.
Geek Cuisine is as nuts as we are, as we enjoy Nut & Butter Crunch Snickers.
We buy stuff so you don’t have to! Brad’s Valentine’s presents were Playboy and Wizard magazines, Stargate:SG1 Barque of Heaven and Doctor Who: Forever Autumn. Christina regales her nightstand incident, for which Brad bought her a Green Arrow figure in consolation. Brad got a pack of Halo 3 Hero Clix, and his copy of Playing For Keeps by Mur Lafferty. Adding to his comic shelf, Brad’s picked up the first collection of Witchblade comics from Top Cow, Serenity:Those Left Behind in hardcover, and The House of M from Marvel. Glenn adds “Empowered” to his collection.
Thanks so much to Buffy:Between The Lines, J.C. Hutchins and “The UltraCreatives Interview Series”. A huge thank you to The Great Luke Ski for his timely “Jack Bauer”.

Glenn brings his flaxen guilt in the form of “Yellow Hair and The Fortress of Gold” for Guilty Pleasures!
Geek ‘N’ Tell finds Brad with a great deal on new XLR cables, and Christina finds Me and My Katamari for the PSP. Brad buys Arcee, and repaint Optimus to add to his Transformers collection, and two Donna Troy figures. Christina has fallen off the Bath & Body Works bandwagon, but she’s working through her addiction with the help of a plush Liem from Mouse Guard. Glenn’s into the heavy stuff this week with his big brown box with his brand new gun.
Thank so very much to James from the Obscure 80’s podcast for his voicemail about Torchwood and Cloverfield.
Christina finds Strawberry Creme Hershey Kisses for Geek Cuisine!
In closing, Christina beams with hope as she talks about the projected Greatest American Hero film. Who would you cast as the man in red spandex?
Promos come graciously from Buffy Between The Lines and Voices of Babylon:Three Edged Sword.

Attention Others… We open this episode with William Mapother, otherwise known as Ethan on Lost.
We talk briefly about the Superbowl and the age-defying Prince. We manage to cover both politics AND religion, new managers, old traditions, and sad Christmas trees.
In TV & DVD Talk, Glenn’s finally finished 4400, and we’re incredulous that Brad hadn’t heard of Dexy’s Midnight Runners. Brad and Christina have been keeping up with Sarah Conner Chronicles, Stargate Atlantis, as well as the return episodes of Supernatural and Lost. Our happy crowning glories of this week’s watching are Torchwood and Primeval.
Geek Cuisine find us with Chocolate Mix Skittles.
Glenn’s picked up Saw IV, Cat People and A Clockwork Orange on HD. Brad and Glenn have picked up Planet Terror on dvd, and Brad found the fifth season of Dead Zone and third season of Veronica Mars. He’s got Mulan II and The Pursuit of Happiness. His giddy for the week is the HD drive for the XBox 360! So now Brad’s Serenity on HD is lonely no more! It’s joined by Darkman, Blazing Saddles, Clerks II, Hollywoodland, Harry Potter, Transformers and Shawn of the Dead. We talk about our wish lists on HD dvd, and those solely on Blu-ray.
Promos come graciously from The Signal and Playing for Keeps by Mur Lafferty. Thanks for a fantastic voicemail from C.A. Sizemore about Gamefly.
