Just got word that Baxter Avenue Theater is going to be showing Serenity as their “Splodin’ Summer Series”. Schedule is for midnight Saturday the 26th of August. Unfortunately, this is a for-profit venture, not something that’s going to Equality Now or anything. But still… might be something that would encourage them to show it again sometime for a fundraiser if we could fill their theater that evening.

Heading into the last of the teens; PodCulture turns 19 with another jumbo show.
DVD, Movie and TV talk includes: The Last Boyscout, Lethal Weapon, Long Kiss Goodnight, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Babylon 5, Farscape, Roswell Conspiracies, Americian Vampire, Looney Tunes, Veggie Tales, V for Vendetta, and Ultraman. Brad and Christina chat about their new spinoff podcast: Stargate Louisville and how that is going.

Hey gang…..rember a few posts back when I mentioned that a very cool thing happened awhile back? Well it happened to Glenn as well. See Jill from The Signal podcast contacted Glenn and asked if he could record some of his thoughts of Firefly and Serenity for a series of mini-podcasts that they were going to be doing. This was to help promote the fact that The Signal was nominated for a Podcast Award and to encourage folk to vote for The Signal. Well he put some of his thoughts into words and sent them on their merry way to Jill. If you like…. feel free to download the the mini podcast he recorded from the link below, and PLEASE be sure to go and vote once each day for The Signal over at PodcastAwards.com
Peace,
Brad

After a quick break Brad and Christina are joined by their co-host from the PodCulture podcast to discuss the film that started the Stargate franchise: Stargate: The Movie. The gang was quite divided in their opinions about the movie.
Then there is a promo from The Signal podcast that includes a bit from Brad that includes some Thoughts of Firefly, as well as a request for listeners to vote for The Signal since they have been nominated for a podcast award.
Brad and Christina close out the show with a request for listener content contributions, as well as some information on how to contact the show.
