The show closes out with the Brad, Glenn and Christina giving out the usual contact info, and a request for emails, voicemails and submissions. And as a very special treat a sneak-peak teaser of PodCulture’s soon-to-be spinoff podcast: Stargate Louisville.
A very cool thing happened awhile back. Jill from The Signal podcast contacted me and asked if I could record some of my thoughts of Firefly and Serenity for a series of mini-podcasts that they were going to be doing. This was to help promote the fact that The Signal was nominated for a Podcast Award and to encourage folk to vote for The Signal. Well I put some of my thoughts into words and sent them on their merry way to Jill. If you like…. feel free to download the the mini podcast I recorded from the link below, and PLEASE be sure to go and vote once each day for The Signal over at PodcastAwards.com
Hey guys! I wanted to share with you a Firefly Fan Video created by a friend (and fellow Browncoat) of ours Wiccy. It’s a wonderful video and fits our big damn heroes perfectly.
All righty after a “fun” filled afternoon. The NEW website for PodCulture is up and running. I really hope you like the new look and that you guys have some fun with it. a HUGE mound of thanks goes out to Anya from Ohio who was FANTASTIC and did the basic layout for the new look. There is NO WAY POSSIBLE that I could have done this without her help!
OK I wanted to let you guys know that this past weekend I was asked to fill in as co-host for the podcast Wingin’ It. The Ranting Scotsman, Ian, headed up a crazy crew along with Karen from Kalifornia, and Chris from Two Girls and a Podcast were in on the fun with me as we filled in for Mike and Evo. Christina even got in on the act too a bit as she was our no-so-silent audience. Since we got together via Skype to record the audio is a little rough, but we had a blast and were honored that the guys let us fill in for them while they were off doing other things. Head on over to Wingin’ It and check out show #69! Be sure to leave the guys a comment or two and let them know what you think. Who knows….maybe we’ll get the chance to do it again sometime.

The ever yummy Geek Cuisine segment is all about the popular kiddie candy Pez. Not just ANY old Pez mind you, but Cola and Raspberry flavored Pez!
Glenn talks about and shows off another of his ebay treasures. This time it is an actual movie prop from the recent release Ultraviolet and a very cool addition to his collection of geek items it is too! He also plugs the One Fan’s Opinion by Eric Larsen (of the Image comic Savage Dragon fame) This can be found over at the Comic Book Resources.com website.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!! The geek-gang winds up the episode with an extensive discussion review about Superman Returns along with a bit of discussion on the upcoming films Ghost Rider, and Wonder Woman.

Hello Listeners! As you all can prob tell from the look of the ol PodCulture site here, I’m not exactly tech savy. Does anyone out there know of an easy (as in REALLY damn easy) way to host, format, and flat-out redesign a website/blog? What I am lookig for is something akin to a combination of the following two websites: Bluegrass Browncoats and Wingin’ It . If anyone know of anything PLEASE let me know OK? I really want to make the PodCulture site interesting and a place we could all have some fun with.
This time the show starts off with the gang discussing the cowardess that is an anonymous email. Glenn chats about the computer game Guild Wars: Factions and that, of course, he is STILL addicted to World of Warcraft.
Then after a break and answering some voicemail sent in by listeners, the crew chats about the Superman Returns movie. Brad and Christina share a story about taking a trip to the Build-a-Bear store. They wrap up the episode with chatter about Rogue Trooper, Judge Dredd: The Game, Nerudo, and Trigun.
Special musical guest this episode is: The Bedlam Bards with a song from their cd On The Drift called Big Damn Trilogy.
A very special thanks go out to Stuart Duncan for sending in some very cool Doctor Who posters, Dani in NC, Nick Bradley, and Paul from The Whocast for calling into the PodCulture voicemail line 206-338-3POD, and to Ian Shields for sending in the promo and introduction for his show The Ranting Scotsman.
